The 2007-08 Writer's Strike, formally the 2007–08 Writers Guild of America strike, or simply the Writer's Strike was a massive strike by the writers of the Writers Guild of America labor union for increased pay due to the large profits of the companies they work for. It began on November 5, 2007 and ended February 12, 2008.
