Lederhosen (in English, "leather trousers") were a type of traditional southern German clothing. In 2354, at the Mazurka Festival in New Berlin, Benjamin Sisko danced in lederhosen, something Cal Hudson still found humorous sixteen years later, in 2370. Sisko claimed that he still had the hat. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part I") The hat Sisko is referring to is called a Tyrolean hat.
