Daytona Road Course is a Real World Circuit first featured in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The circuit is housed within the Daytona International Speedway. The track utilizes the banked turns of the high-speed oval, along with a tight infield section and a mid-speed double chicane on the back straight. Due to the dual-nature of the circuit, cars need to have both a good top speed and a high level of mechanical grip in order to be well suited on the Daytona 24 Hour Road Course. Formula cars, such as the Formula Gran Turismo or Ferrari F2007, or modern LMP cars such as the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 should be good on this road course, but they have a tendency to lose control on the tight corners, meaning this course is best suited for touring cars like the Super GT or DTM cars because of their ideal
