Clana'thaly'nuruodo, or Athalyn by her core name, was a Chiss female force-user, who served as Director of the Imperial Inquisitorius within the Sith Empire on Byss. With an intelligence background she was accepted into the ranks of the Inquisitorius by her predecessor, Grand Inquisitor Equitus, who also continued her training in the ways of the force her father had begun. After Equitus fell in disgrace she assumed control over the Inquisitorius, becoming its director.
