Nu Squadron was an Imperial Navy squadron of TIE pilots who flew TIE/ln starfighters. During the Galactic Civil War, they betrayed the Empire and joined rogue Vice Admiral Berrus. Nu Squadron fighters attempted to cover Mu Squadron's TIE landers and TIE boarding crafts as they tried to board Emperor Palpatine's personal Imperial-class Star Destroyer, the Majestic. They were defeated by Darth Vader's loyal forces, including the elite Black Eight Squadron.
