The Battle of Ploo took place immediately following the Battle of Aquaris. The Mandalorian First Assault Fleet remained at the previous location for a short while, to allow for wounded soldiers to heal in their bacta tanks. Afterwards, Mandalore Cadden Blackthorne ordered the fleet to progree to Ploo, where the first of three assaults would grant them the Xen'Chi's attention. Due to the invasion path continuing to be severed during their efforts, they were aware that the defense forces would only grow thicker with each attack. This battle was to mark the beginning of the the shock troopers' trial by fire.
