Laminanium is a self-healing Qellan metal capable of melting and resolidifying at room temperature to seal breaches. It generates a full hermetic seal when it comes into contact with corrosive acids. The YVH1 Yuuzhan Vong Hunter droid was protected by over-lapping plates of laminanium.
