The wharf is an interchange station between the North Western and Skarloey Railways. It contains an enormous shunting yard, factories and warehouses, all located beside canals and rivers in which boats and barges deliver and take on cargo. The wharf is close to Brendam Docks. Colin the Crane lives here as well as many other wharfside cranes, including A.J.R No.1.
