The unnamed Nurse worked in the Maternity department of Weatherfield General where Jake Windass was kept after being born two months premature to his surrogate mother Tina McIntyre. The child's father, Gary Windass, visited the hospital one day where the nurse told him that he had been taken for x-rays as he had been bringing up his milk and it also contained bile. She refused to speculate what the matter could be but was present later on when the Consultant told Gary and Izzy Armstrong that the baby had an inflammation of the intestine and they were putting him back on the drip and antibiotics but an operation might be needed and, if the condition proved serious enough, it could be fatal.
