The spirit defender is dropped from Cyclopirits (level 182) after you have a dragon defender and completed the new Warriors' Guild quest Spirits of an Eye. The defender requires 70 Prayer and Defence to wield and is a fairly rare drop from the cyclopirits. It's an outline of the rune defender with a sigil on it, it's a random colour there are different colours but with same defences. After completing the quest Summer's End there was a glitch, that if they used there spirit shield on a rock near the spirit portal a divine spirit shield would be received. The bug was fixed on 21 July 2009.
