The Great Cat Spirit is a friendly level 70 cat found in southern Moonglade. The Great Cat Spirit's level was raised from 60 in patch 2.0.1. Unlike the similarly appearing Great Bear Spirit, it is not currently involved in any quests, and druids obtain their cat form without interacting with it. There was once a quest for druids to obtain their cat forms that involved this NPC and an escort quest in Darkshore, but the quest was removed in early 2005 because it was felt that this gave druids too much Cenarion Circle reputation too early.
