Microfibral Muscle is one of the nano-augmentations in Deus Ex. It is the complement of Combat Strength - the player must choose one or the other when installing the Arms slot augmentation. Microfibral Muscle allows JC Denton to carry or push objects that would normally be too heavy for him. Moving heavy objects can be used to gain access to previously unreachable locations. This can be done by either moving the object from a passage it is obstructing or by climbing on it to reach a height. This is an active augmentation that consumes 20 units of bioenergy per minute.
