Bonita Charne-Sayre (played by Jessica Schreier) was a scientist and personal physician, and, presumably, lover of the Well-Manicured Man who lived in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was thought that she would be the most likely person able to develop a vaccine against the black oil. For that reason, she was strangled to death by Vassily Peskow, although the official cause of death was a crushed neck due to a horseriding accident.
