Elpha and her young cubs were some of many that were abducted from their home world by aliens and placed in a zoo for the paying guests. When the zoo was forced to close, it went over to auto maintenance. Security robots quelled any disturbances with pacifying sticks that resembled cattle prods. The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond's arrival resulted in the zoo being closed down permanently and the captives freed. Most decided to stay on the planet, but Elpha and her cubs accepted the Doctor’s offer to return home to her planet with its fields of purple grass. (COMIC: Cell Shock)
