Takeuchi is a character appearing in Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. He is a sailor in the Imperial Japanese Navy, and can be seen aboard the Toshikaze during the mission Supercarrier Sabotage. When the player (accompanied by Phillip Bromley) enters the room where Shima's gold is being kept, Takeuchi emerges along with several other sailors wearing gas masks, and begins shooting at the player as they slowly pass out from the gas being leaked into the room. He would however be killed when the vessel exploded. He is also available to play as in Multiplayer.
