Shrelic was a security officer in Starfleet who left the Andorian guard after being convinced by Lynaa, another Andorian who Shrelic would one day marry. By 2255 he had reached the rank of commander and was serving as the first officer and security chief of the USS Eagle under Captain Bill Dollard. (Star Trek: Eagle)
