The Second Battle of Aldebaran was a major battle in the Midwayan Civil War. The Midwayan military had suffered many defeats in the Midwayan Civil War, and some thought that the Red Front was going to overthrow the government. The Midwayan military had lost their capitol, Aldebaran, in the Battle of Aldebaran. This had dealt a blow to the morale of the Midwayan military. Military generals all agreed that a successful counterattack would raise the morale of the soldiers. Despite strong opposition from generals, the Emperor of the Union of Midway, Zabuza Hashimoto, chose to lead the attack himself.
