The superconscious is a concept in Divination. In 1994, when teaching her third year Divination students to crystal-gaze, Professor Sybill Trelawney had them start out by practising "relaxing the conscious mind and external eyes," in order to "clear the Inner Eye and the superconcious" in the hope of getting better results.
