Deric was an honourable Centaur. He worked on the farm owned by Penelope's father in Nespa. He was involved in a plot concocted by Nemis to abduct Penelope and kill Hercules. Eventually, he realized the error of his ways and he left with his lover, Lyla, to go to Athens where he hoped people would be more open-minded about their relationship (HTLJ "As Darkness Falls").
