Due to its mediocre resources and dangerous location it is rarely used for other than multitasking. Players can take a pickaxe with them when arriving from Teleport House or when training in the Axe Hut and mine the desired rocks on their way to Mage Arena bank. The one of two Wilderness anvils is located in the northeast corner of the Bat house nearby. It can be used in conjunction with Superheat item spell to quickly forge iron, steel, mithril and adamant items. The anvil is also relatively close to runite rocks in the runite mine and Lava Maze mine.
