Before You Leap: A Frog's-Eye View of Life's Greatest Lessons is a 224-page hardcover book written by Kermit the Frog. Muppet writer Jim Lewis ghosted the book (although he prefers to think of it as "channelling the frog"). As Kermit explains in the introduction, the book is split into two parts: "First, it's a book about my life. Second, it's a book about your life." The book is followed by two companion volumes -- Pepe the King Prawn's It's Hard Out Here for a Shrimp, from October 2008, and Miss Piggy's The Diva Code in January 2009.
