Niccolo Soren was a Mirialan assassin born on the crime-ridden world of Nar Shaddaa. Soren lost both parents early in his childhood and ironically, was adopted by their killers. He was raised by the two Anzati assailants to be a cold, calculating killer, much like they were. He was eventually rescued from Anzat by the Watchman of that sector, Alto Kist, who, unbeknownst to Soren at the time, was on his way to defect to the Sith. Soren trained amiably as a Jedi Guardian once he'd been indoctrinated into the Jedi Order on Coruscant.
