Heir to the Empire: The 20th Anniversary Edition is a reprint of the novel Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn with the additions of a new foreword by Howard Roffman, a new introduction by Timothy Zahn, annotations by Zahn and his editor, Betsy Mitchell, and an all-new novella by Zahn, Crisis of Faith. The book was published by Ballantine Books and Del Rey in September 2011 in honor of the twentieth anniversary of Heir to the Empire's original publication.
