Jack Wade Moreland was a retired American professional basketball player. Moreland played 5 years in the NBA for the Detroit Pistons then 5 years for the ABA's New Orleans Buccaneers. He played College basketball at Louisiana Tech. In August 1971, he was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer eventually passing away 2 months later.
