Karen Holloway was a broadcast journalist in San Francisco. In Spring 1968, she reported on the aftermath of the shoggoth attack on the city's zoo. A shoggoth had attacked the cave penguin exhibit, and killed every penguin there, while leaving other birds unharmed.
