Delilah S. Dawson is an American author who wrote the short stories "The Perfect Weapon," set before the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, and "Scorched," a prequel to Claudia Gray's novel Bloodline, published in Star Wars Insider 165. It was revealed on April 7, 2017 that Dawson would be one of the authors contributing to the anthology book From a Certain Point of View. It was later announced at Celebration Orlando that she would also write the novel Phasma. A currently unknown Star Wars project written by Dawson was announced at New York Comic Con 2017.
