The Second Fleet was a numbered fleet in the United Federation of Planets Starfleet that was deployed during at least the 22nd, 23rd and 24th centuries. The Second Fleet was one of many that saw extensive action during the Dominion War. The Second Fleet would eventually be deployed to the Kotanka system, where it was engaged by Dominion forces. Elements of the fleet were then reassigned to Starbase 375, where it joined the Fifth Fleet in preparation for Operation Return.
