The Urban Vancouver - Cretaceous Anomaly is an Anomaly linking a sealed building in an urban area of present day Vancouver to the Late Cretaceous. When this Anomaly opened, a Pachycephalosaurus came through, and the Special Projects Group, tranquilised it. Then Project Magnet, arrived with Lieutenant Leeds in charge, and they blocked off the Anomaly site also taking the dinosaur with them. (Truth (New World Episode 1.8)) Later, Project Magnet most likely made journeys through to collect prehistoric samples.
