Elmo's Christmas Colors is a 1997 Sesame Street storybook featuring Elmo. Elmo talks about the Christmas colors that he likes best, like the red of striped candy canes. Cookie Monster and Zoe decorate with the blue of paper chains and the gold of sparkly bows. Grover, Herry Monster, Rosita and Betty Lou play outside in the white snow. Ernie juggles orange toys, and Prairie Dawn snuggles in a pink quilt. Big Bird slides on yellow skis, with Little Bird flying behind. Oscar the Grouch buys a scraggly green Christmas tree. Telly Monster bakes gloopy purple pies. Bert, Humphrey and Ingrid entertain Baby Natasha with silver bells. At the end, all of the friends come together to celebrate Christmas with all of their colorful props.
