The Directorate of Intelligence Services (DISC) is the national intelligence and counterintelligence agency of the New England Republic. The Directorate was created in April 2008 by the Intelligence Services Act, which finally combined the United States-era intelligence agencies of the New England Republic into one centralized agency. It is an independent agency within the government and is subordinate to no other executive department, thus its leadership answers directly to the President, Prime Minister, or Parliament.
