Malak's lightsaber was the personal single-bladed lightsaber of the Jedi Guardian and Dark Lord of the Sith Malak. As Alek was a Guardian with a specific mastery of single-bladed lightsaber combat, he employed a sturdy, well-constructed weapon with a slightly enlarged hilt to compensate for his above-average hand size. Rather than use the traditional blue color crystal utilized by most Jedi Guardians, Alek instead opted for the use of a Cyan color crystal, complemented by a rare Sapith focusing crystal that made the blade both powerful and easy to wield.
