Abraham Whistler is still suffering from injuries he sustained during the first film. However, he now walks with a constant limp. To help Whistler out, Blade has recruited a new assistant, a young man named Scud that he previously saved from vampires, to design new gear and weapons. Next, we see Blade attacking one of the vampire blood banks and fighting through a gang of vampires, killing all but one, a cowardly man named Rush. Blade leaves Rush alive, but tells him that he will come back for him.
