Zeal was found as a cub in the decaying ruins of Pulse City, a floating ship that hovered above Mobius by followers of an entity known as the Beast or Kreios as they called him. Zeal was cared for by the demented Mobians and indoctrinated with lies about Kreios' benevolence and how his return would benefit Mobius. He fled soon after realising that he was actually meant to become a vessel for Kreios and his soul be devoured by the creature. He vowed revenge on the insane cult and promised to rid Mobius of that 'scum'. He spend seven years hunting down the 'Children of the Beast'.
