Sandoval was a member of the USS Enterprise-D crew. She was killed after being hit by a disruptor blast sometime in 2366. She lived for about a week after being injured. William T. Riker reminded Worf of Sandoval's death in 2368 as he was contemplating suicide, and how she was an example of an honorable person who did not resort to death when faced with a crippling injury. (TNG: "Ethics" ) This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
