The Noose Man is an enemy encountered in EarthBound. It appears in the Desert Gold Mine, often in groups, and may be paired with a Mad Duck or Gigantic Ant. The Noose Man resembles (and may be an equivalent to) the Rope enemy found in the original Mother. The Noose Man is based off of the killing tool of the same name, used mainly in executions by hanging.
