Doji Tanaka was given the Bloodsword Passion by Asahina Yajinden in 508. Two years later, in 510, he butchered his entire family and professed his love for an eleven year old geisha to his assembled court before throwing himself to his death off the cliffs near Kyuden Doji, carrying Passion with him. Tanaka was at least 23 years old at the time.
