Gerrard E. Krause was a wealthy gentleman who owned the B1 series machine named B1-66ER. He was killed along with at least five of his seven dogs and Martin Koots by the machine because it believed that they were planning to deactivate him, and that it did not wish to die. B1-66ER's owner was only named in the comic and was not explicitly named in The Animatrix story, The Second Renaissance.
