The President of the Federation of Zardugal is the symbolic and nominal head of state of Federation of Zardugal. Technically, the President is the highest-ranking public official in Zardugal, and is also the commander-in-chief of the military. However, actual power is vested in the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, as the President is legally bound to exercise his executive powers on the advice of the Prime Minister. The President's only actual function is to act as the chief diplomatic officer of Zardugal.
