Bruce Dowie (born December 9, 1962 in Oakville, Ontario) is a retired Canadian ice hockey goaltender. He played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He played junior hockey for the Toronto Marlboros from 1979 to 1983. Undrafted by the NHL, he was sigend as a free agent by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1983. Dowie saw action in 1983-84 in two games for the Leafs. Other than that he played in the Leafs' minor pro system. Injuries limted his action and he retired in 1987.
