Milton Keynes Dons (formerly Wimbledon) and Bristol Rovers have met only thirteen times in competitive matches, and only eight times since Wimbledon relocated and renamed themselves to MK Dons. Of those thirteen games four have been draws, Rovers have won twice and MK seven times. In their previous guise as Wimbledon, the club famously rose from being a non-league club to playing in the top flight, winning the FA Cup along the way. During the summer of the FA Cup win, Wimbledon provided the opposition for Jackie Pitt's testimonial match on 13 August 1988.
