The Hollow Crown, Issue 1 is the first issue of a two-part Star Trek: The Original Series comic, Romulans: The Hollow Crown, written and illustrated by John Byrne and published by IDW Publishing in September 2008. The book began Byrne's second Star Trek miniseries, and was a sequel to Byrne's first Star Trek comic, Alien Spotlight: Romulans. The series plays off the events of several TOS episodes, exploring the Klingon-Romulan Alliance.
