Petr Bříza (born December 9, 1964) is a former Czech ice hockey goaltender. He played in goal on the bronze medal winning ice hockey team for Czechoslovakia at the 1992 Winter Olympics. He played in his native Czechoslovakia from 1981 to 1991 with HC Slavia Praha, Dukla Jihlava, HC Ceske Budjovice, and HC Sparta Praha. Briza then moved to Finland with Lukko Rauma for two seasons (1991 to 1993), winning the top goaltender award in 1991-92. He played for EV Landshut from 1993 to 1999 and finished off his career in his native Prague with HC Sparta Praha. Briza retired in 2006.
