The Alliance for Democracy and Peace, abbreviated ADP, was a political organization in the Galactic Empire, made up of reforms attempting to initiate reform in the Imperial government, during the Galactic Civil War. However, by 3 ABY, it's leader and founder, Thrak Fairax, had become a member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The Alliance for Democracy and Peace had a strength of 45,000—50,000 supporters on Coruscant, where it was primarily based. The ADP organized protests against the Empire's actions at Bespin and Hoth, as well as it's usual totalitarianism. The protests grew bigger than expected, and a new organization was formed to oversee the masses, the Coruscanti Liberation Movement. It maintained close ties to the ADP. During the protests, the Imperial Security Bureau cracke
