She was originally a skiing champion named Saeko Yamamoto, transformed into a monster to stage the Miss Moon Princess contest in Episode 38, "The Snow! The Mountains! Our Friendship! And of Course, a Youma Too," in an attempt to capture Sailor Moon. She attacked the Sailor Senshi, but was healed by Sailor Moon using Moon Healing Escalation.
