Jason Scott was the original Red Power Ranger and leader of Zordon's second team. He would go on to become one of the most infamous rangers alongside his friend and rival, Tommy Oliver. After departing Angel Grove for the what seemed like the last time he went off into the military serving with the likes of the Silver Guardians; Wesley Collins and Eric Myers. While in the military he fell in love with another officer in training who he would eventually marry and have a son with. Although he enjoyed being a father he knew that he could never leave his ranger life behind and returned to action to assist a team of his fellow rangers in preventing threats around the world. He is portrayed by Austin St. John.
