After Robotnik was removed from power, the park was presumably reopened to the public. Many years later, it was one of several sites where the people fought back against the New Robotnik Empire. Ebony returned, aided by fellow magic user Agiatha Witchbrew, and the two fought alongside the trees to ensure the Troopers didn't regain control of the territory.
