The Magnabot was a vehicle created by Dr. Robotnik in an effort to trap the Freedom Fighters by capturing Bunnie Rabbot by attracting her magnetic parts. Luckily, Sonic the Hedgehog defeated the plot by tricking Robotnik into aiming the Maganabot towards Robotropolis, causing him to pull in vast amounts of material from the city that engulfed the robot.
