When the nine clans gathered at the edge of the crater that had been their homeland, Suncat challenged Silverhorse of the Hawk Clan. He wanted to know how the land was to be cleansed without magic. It was the opening blow of the fight that eventually separated the Clans into the Tayledras and Shin'a'in. Suncat journeyed into the Pelagirs with what would eventually become Clan k'Treva.
