Armour Rating is a gameplay element appearing exclusively in Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters which dictates how much damage your hero takes. Doubling your Armour Rating will decrease the damage taken by approximately half. Every piece of armour and clothing has an armour rating. The higher your armour rating, the more protection you receive from your armour.
