Qarmoutus is a large catfish found in what is now known as Egypt. The catfish could have been 6.5 ft in length, but there are larger catfishes still living today. It could have been prey for Basilosaurus, and Dorudon. It could have been poisonous in order to be safe from those carnivorous Whales.
